Graduated from the Senac Brazilian Federative School in 1992, she graduated from the Aesthetics Training course at Gernetic International Cosmética Ortomolecular Francesa (Laboratoires Gernetic Synthese Chateau d'Ensoules-Berault) at Escola S.I.L.D. (Societa Italiana di Linfodrenaggio). At the Brasileira de Lymfoterapia(Brazilian lymphatic association), she completed studies in T.V.M. (Manual Lymphatic Vacuum Therapy), T.D.M. (Microcirculation Decongestant Therapy), and M.L.D. (Draining Lymphatic Massage). Afterward, she also graduated in California, at the A2zhealth school in Los Angeles.
In 2000 Maria founded Won-Held Beauty and esthetics in Rio de Janeiro, where she cared for many artists.
Since then, she has continued to improve her knowledge and broaden her horizons through studies and research.
Maria saw that Lymphatic Drainage was more than a massage method but a tool capable of improving health and general well-being. And that's how she developed his Lymphatic Drainage method.
Currently, Maria lives in the United States, California. And together with her team, she transforms lives at her Spa in Beverly Hills.
