Founder | Licensed Massage Therapist
Maria, originally from Brazil, is the founder of Bossa Spa and a highly respected therapist with over 30 years in the wellness and beauty industry. She graduated from Senac Brazilian Federative School (1992), studied advanced aesthetics at Genetic International Cosmética Ortomolecular Francesa, and trained in lymphatic drainage with the Società Italiana di Linfodrenaggio.
Her specializations include Manual Lymphatic Vacuum Therapy (TVM), Microcirculation Decongestant Therapy (TDM), and Draining Lymphatic Massage (MLD) through the Brazilian Lymphatic Association. Before founding Bossa Spa in Los Angeles, Maria established Won-Held Technic in Rio de Janeiro, where she worked with high-profile clients.
Known for her expertise in lymphatic drainage, blending Brazilian techniques with modern aesthetics for visible and lasting results.
